VisitBritain Quality in Tourism has awarded Wheatley Farm 5 Stars with an additional Gold Award for bed and breakfast. They describe this rating as 'Exceptional with a degree of luxury, with exceptional levels of cleanliness, quality, comfort and food'.
Green Tourism Policy:
Five generations of family have farmed at Wheatley we are aware of the importance of looking after our wonderful countryside. Farming and tourism are interlinked; here at Wheatley we work with both to look after the environment. We can all try to minimise the footprint we leave behind us.
We have recycling facilities for papers, bottles, cans, etc.
Try to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible.
The cottages have low energy light bulbs.
Food is sourced locally wherever possible using minimal packing.

Introduction
We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our home based 4 bedroom Bed and Breakfast. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any questions please call us.

We have a website with photographs of each guests room all on the first floor.
The main train station is 38 miles away.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is ample free parking outside on a flat gravel area close to farmhouse.
Assistance with luggage is always offered.
Access to farmhouse is one step up into main hall. Guide dogs accepted.

Guest are escorted to room and facilities explained
Public Areas - General (Internal)
Guests dinning room has a slate floor with rug.
Lounge wooden floor with rug. Hall fitted carpet.
Public Areas – WC
Guests bedrooms are ensuite on first floor. No WC on ground floor
Restaurant / Dining Room, & Lounge
Breakfast is served in the dinning room on the ground floor.
Furniture is flexible and can be moved on request.
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and all other diets catered for.
The B&B is non smoking throughout the premises.
Leisure Facilities
Swimming pool entrance 6" step to enter pool room.
Enter pool via 6 steps. Changing room/wc on same level.
Pool dept 1.4 meters. No hoists, good lighting.
Contrast in floor and wall surfaces. Anti slip floor tiles. Clear pictorial signs.

All bedrooms are on the first floor, with a secure lockable door. No lifts
Televisions all have remote controls teletext subtitles.
Carpets are fitted short pile, with tiled floors in bedrooms.
Tea tray with cordless kettle. All bedding non feather, Accommodation is pet free
