Green Tourism Policy:
Five generations of family have farmed at Wheatley we are aware of the importance of looking after our wonderful countryside. Farming and tourism are interlinked; here at Wheatley we work with both to look after the environment. We can all try to minimise the footprint we leave behind us.

We have recycling facilities for papers, bottles, cans, etc.
Try to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible.
The cottages have low energy light bulbs.
Food is sourced locally wherever possible using minimal packing.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is a single garage with ample free parking outside on a flat concrete area close to cottage. Access to cottage is one step up into Cottage. Guide dogs accepted.

Main Entrance       And ground floor
Guest are escorted around cottage and facilities explained
Kitchen and dinning area have slate floors with rugs.
Kitchen has standard height units
Lounge slate floors with rugs, TV with remote control subtitles teletext
Two steps down to conservatory, with access out to garden and patio
Good lighting throughout.

Leisure Facilities
Swimming pool entrance 6" step to enter poolroom.
Enter pool via 6 steps. Changing room/wc on same level.
Pool dept 1.4 meters. No hoists, good lighting.
Contrast in floor and wall surfaces. Anti slip floor tiles. Clear pictorial signs.

Outdoor Facilities
Concrete & Gravel path in garden leading to Patio area.

Bedrooms
All bedrooms are on the first floor, No lifts
Televisions all have remote controls
Carpets are fitted short pile.
